Ethiopian Groove | Light Roast | French Press Coffee | Zesty & Fruity | 200g
100% Arabica & The Natural Process: We source these beans straight from the high-altitude estates of Chikmagalur. What makes this batch different is that it’s an unwashed, naturally processed coffee. Instead of stripping the coffee cherry off immediately, we leave the fruit on the bean while it dries in the sun. This lets the natural sugars from the fruit ferment and bake directly into the seed. It takes a lot more time and labor, but it results in a heavier body and a raw, authentic flavor profile that washed coffees just can't replicate.
Engineered for Your Gut (Low-Acidic): Light roasts usually have a reputation for being highly acidic and harsh on the stomach. We bypass that entirely. This blend is strictly low-acidic, meaning you get the high-caffeine morning kick and the bright flavor profile of a light roast, but without the acid reflux, heartburn, or stomach crash that usually follows. It’s designed so you can drink multiple cups a day without wrecking your gut.
Zesty & Floral Chemistry: Because we keep the roast light, we aren't masking the bean's natural chemistry with heavy smoke or char. The first sip hits with a sharp, zesty citrus punch, and it finishes with a clean, floral undertone. It’s a bright, high-energy cup that actually tastes like the farm it was grown on, rather than the machine it was roasted in.
Calibrated Coarse Grind: If you put a standard or fine grind into a French Press, you end up with an over-extracted, muddy cup. We grind this coarse specifically for immersion brewing. The larger coffee particles allow the hot water to extract the oils and flavors slowly and evenly. When you press the plunger down, you get a heavy, rich extraction, while the sludge stays securely trapped at the bottom of the beaker.
The French Press Protocol: Add the coarse grounds, pour in hot (but not boiling) water to ensure you don't burn the oils, and let it steep for exactly four minutes. Plunge slowly and pour immediately.
